Ongoing measurement of print and audio ratings and exclusive custom-made ad hoc research

National research on print media ratings MEDIA PROJEKT

This ongoing measuring has been running since 1994 and affects 250 printed publications using an annual sample of 25 000 respondents.

The print media ratings research focuses on daily newspapers and magazines and selected television channels. The main user is the Publishers Union and the data is used in platform planning in media agencies.

 

We are partners in this project and data collection happens continually over a span of 50 weeks throughout the year, using a representative sample of the population of the Czech Republic. The respondents for the interviews are selected randomly.

The results offer:

  • Reader ratings of each newspaper or magazine
  • How successful they are in their category of periodicals
  • Who the readers of each newspaper and magazine are
  • How many times one periodical is passed to another person
  • The number of periodicals per person

National audio ratings research RADIOPROJEKT

This ongoing radio audience measurement has been running since 2006 and includes all Czech broadcast, regional and local radio stations. The research is conducted on a sample of 30 000 respondents annually.
The main users are individual radio stations, their role in the commercial area and the data is used in platform planning in media agencies. The submitters are members of the Radio department of the Union of Communication of Media Organizations (SKMO) and the Union of Advertising Agencies (ARA’s).

 

We are partners in this project and data collection happens continually over a span of 50 weeks throughout the year conducted over the telephone. The respondents for the interviews are selected randomly. The target group is people aged 12-79.
